Congratulations to these GMS Band students for making the Region 4 ATSSB All-Region Band! These students will perform a concert with students from other schools in our region at Gilmer High School on January 12th.

• 11/2/23 - GMS Band performance at the 8th grade football game. Gladewater vs White Oak. (Mandatory performance)

• 11/3/23 - 8th Grade band members ONLY are welcome to join the HS Band in the stands for the first half of the last home football game. Gladewater vs White Oak. (Optional performance for 8th graders only)

• 12/1/23 - MS All-Region Band Auditions. (Optional Audition)

• 12/7/23 - GISD Bands Christmas Concert. 6:30pm in the HS Auditorium. The 6th graders will not perform in this concert. (Mandatory performance)

• 1/12/24 - MS All-Region Band Clinic and Concert (Mandatory performance for those who made the All-Region Band)

• Tuesday 2/13/23 – 3:45-5:00 - After school rehearsal in preparation for UIL Concert and Sightreading contest. (Mandatory rehearsal for Varsity Band members)

• 5/13/24 - SoundPost Music Festival insentive trip in Canton. (Optional performance. Requirements must be met to earn this trip. Those requirements can be found in the band letter mailed home at the beginning of the year or below on this webpage.)

• *DATE CHANGE* 5/16/24 - GISD Bands Spring Concert. 6:30pm in the HS Auditorium. (Mandatory performance. This date changed from the original 14th to the 16th.)
