• Every year the GHS Band goes to Lakeview Baptist Retreat to have band camp.  This camp is required for the band students.  It costs $170 per student.  Checks for this need to be made out to “GHS Band Boosters”.  Bring these to your uniform checkout day.  If you are having a difficult time paying for this, come talk to me so a solution can be found.  We will not allow a family’s finances to prevent a student from being in the band.  Band camp is a lot of work, but a lot of fun also.  Students will spend time learning to march and learning the new music.  They will have some free time to swim, play games, and have a good time.  Normally, on the last day of camp, parents are invited to enjoy a quick concert of the music we learned.  The address for the camp is 240 Camp Cir, Lone Star, TX 75668.  The camp is located behind Lone Star Baptist Church.   Look it up on the internet for more information.
